Why I Do Everything Else By Myself, Part Infinity:
Well I’m out of here, gotta get home, drop the dog off, pick up the neighbor and come back here to see Moneyball.
I have this voucher for an indie theater, for $15 I got 2 tickets, and popcorn and drinks for 2. So I told my wacky neighbor I’d take her. So she chose Moneyball (I realize it’s out on DVD already) for tonight at 5pm. Fine, fine.
She just called and asked me how long the movie is.
(Like there is no such thing as The Internet)
So I looked it up and it’s like, 133 minutes. And she’s like well my husband has to go to work at 3 am.
And I’m like, what does that mean
and she says well because he’ll be going to bed at 6:30. I was hoping you’d tell me it was like an hour and a half.
Well, you’ll just have to be quiet when you get in.
I mean, you chose the movie and the time.
I told her she could always meet me there and leave early. But she said no.
But now I’m all aware of it.
But I am not going to worry about it.
